The mission of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is to support and promote philanthropy that is employee-focused, cost-efficient and effective in providing all Federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

Dear Fellow Federal Employees and Military Personnel:

We are excited to announce the merger between the New Mexco CFC, San Juan County CFC, Southeast New Mexico CFC and the Sun Country CFC for the 2013 campaign year. The resulting territory for the newly named "Desert Southwest CFC" creates one of the largest geographic CFC areas in the country. Creating a consolidated CFC area will help us work more efficiently so even more money can go to the charities YOU designate to receive contributions.

The theme this year is "Serving our Country. Supporting our Community." With the unselfish genrosity of Federal employees, military personnel and postal employees, last year the local CFCs raised nearly $3 million to support our community.

On behalf of every man, woman and child who benefited from your generosity, please accept our heartfelt thanks.

In 2012, we added online pledging for all Federal employees through CFC Nexus. In 2013, Federal agencies with DFAS payroll can make online pledges directly through their myPay human resource program. I am confident that we will continue to be leaders in the nation for charitable giving through CFC, especially through online pledging initiatives.  Using the features of CFC Nexus, Employee Express and myPay, we will continue to be able to match the flexibility provided by other charities who allow a secure internet based method to contribute and move our campaign to a greener, more efficient and effective campaign.

I am proud of the service you provide to our country and of the support you give to your neighbors and communities by giving through the Combined Federal Campaign. Thank you for all that you do.
