The mission of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is to support and promote philanthropy that is employee-focused, cost-efficient and effective in providing all Federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

My Fellow Federal Employees and Military Personnel,

Your community and the charities you support stand in awe of your generosity. In 2013, your pledges of over
$2.5 Million helped people who live around the corner, across the Nation, and throughout the world.  The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the single annual charity drive among Federal civilian, military, and postal employees that allows contributions to approved charities through payroll deduction and is the keystone of philanthropy for more than 2,400 charities. It is one of, if not the, largest single charity drive in the world. In the last ten years alone, despite economic troubles and budget turmoil, federal employees have joined together to give over $2.65 billion to charity. Proof that, along with thousands of your fellow Federal employees, your generous giving can provide positive, life-changing transformations for those in need.

The 2014 CFC theme is Give for Good and this year you can also GIVE ANYWHERE through the Desert Southwest Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). That's right .... "Universal Giving" has been implemented for this campaign year so you can now designate your generous gift to ANY CHARITY approved to be a part of the campaign, no matter where that charity is located. All you need to do is review all local, national and international charities approved across the country by going to "Search Charities" button on this website and indentifying the 5-digit CFC code for the charity of your choice.

In addition, the Desert Southwest CFC was selected for a new pilot program within the CFC which will help connect Federal employees and military personnel with local charities for volunteer activities. This program will be implemented mid-October 2014, so please revisit the CFCC's website for our Volunteer Bulletin Board and see how you can make a difference by volunteering for worthy causes in your area.

We ask you to Give for Good this year by making a contribution and/or by volunteering. When you give from your heart to those in need, you elevate the life of those who cannot provide for themselves. Through your selfless actions and overwhelming generosity, you stand behind those organizations working to improve the lives of others.  Together, we can reach our 2014 goal of $2.5 million.

Please give generously. Look for organizations in the 2014 CFC Charity List or search online to find charities that are meaningful to you. You are important to them. Please Give for Good TODAY and help others help themselves.
